Before registering for care with Rooted Birth Midwifery & Wellness, we ask all new clients to attend a free, no-commitment information session with us. We offer these sessions via both Zoom as well as in-person, with multiple opportunities each month. If none of these work for you, we also offer private, in-person consultations. The private consultations are billed a fee of $100, which is credited to your account if you enter care. Call our admin desk at 540-908-2671 ext 3 to schedule an in-person consultation.
For those who have already had care with Rooted Birth (or Premier Birth Center in Winchester), you are welcome to attend an info session to learn more about what's new with Premier, but this is not required.
For those interested in learning more about possible insurance reimbursement, you may complete the Insurance Verification form and pay the $25 registration fee to register with our billing company. We recommend completing this before entering care, but it is an optional service.

Zoom Info Sessions
Our Zoom Info Sessions are held every 2 weeks on Wednesday evenings. They are free to attend and fulfill the requirement for new clients to attend a consultation or info session before entering care. Sessions will be hosted by the Rooted Birth midwife or student midwife. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to bring questions about midwifery care and home birth or birth center experiences.

In-Person Info Sessions
Our In-Person Info Sessions are held once a month at the Rooted Birth office. These free sessions include a tour of the Rooted Birth office and birth space, as well as ample opportunity to get your own questions answered. Sessions will be hosted by the Rooted Birth midwife or student midwife and fulfill the requirement for a consultation or info session prior to entering care.
