Formerly Premier Birth Center, Rooted Birth Midwifery & Wellness serves families across the Shenandoah Valley, from the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains to the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, including Winchester, Martinsburg, Front Royal, and surrounding areas.
Our compassionate, respectful, and personalized care is at the heart of all we do at Rooted Birth Midwifery & Wellness. Primary midwifery care is available from pre-conception planning through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We offer birth center care in the heart of Winchester, as well as home births in areas surrounding Winchester, VA and Martinsburg, WV.
Our wellness offerings include massage services, which are available for both clients and the community; support groups and play groups; our vitamin and supplement shop; and much more!

Prepare for an amazing birth
Contact our office to schedule a tour and learn more about your options for care with Rooted Birth. Our free information sessions are required before starting care. They are available in-person at the birth center or via Zoom. If the 4 sessions each month don't fit your schedule, we can also schedule a private consultation for a nominal fee ($100, credited to your registration fee if you start care with us).
